- American Education Week is November 16 thru the 20th. This is an exciting week and we encourage all parents and grandparents to come out and participate.
- Schedule for American Education week is as following:
· Monday we will have the kickoff. We will have a speaker, the Good Times Band will play for us, and we will have a visit from some special people in the Motorcycle Group. This will be a great way to start our American Education Week. The kickoff will start at 9:00 a.m..
· Tuesday will be Muffins for Mom from 7- 7:45 a.m.
· Wednesday will be Delights for Dad from 7-7:45 a.m.
· Friday will be Goodies for Grandparents from 7-7:45 a.m. We will
also be having some special visitors come and read to each of the
classrooms.
· Friday will be the Book Parade and we will present our books we
collected to the Women's Coalition Group.
1. We will also be collecting gently used or new books for the Women's Coalition Group all of this week. This is for a good cause so please help support this event.
2. Our Scholastic Book Fair will begin on Monday as well so please come and enjoy the display of wonderful books we have for sale for your children.
- Every classroom during American Education Week will make a flag that represents the theme Our Basic Rights and Our Responsibility. The flags will be judged on Thursday. So good luck to all classes- be creative.
- Family Math Night is November the 17th. We hope you will come and participate in learning new and exciting techniques to help your child with math at home.
- There will be no school on November 25-27. We hope you enjoy your Thanksgiving Holidays.
- Our Holiday Performance is December 8th. We hope you will come out and support your child and the school. This is always an uplifting event for our Pate families.
