Dear Pate Panda Families,

My name is Ashley Taylor, and I am excited to be serving as your principal for the upcoming school year. Having been part of the Pate Elementary community for the past two years as the Literacy Coach, I am honored to lead this incredible school and am looking forward to the year ahead.

Our theme for this school year is "One Team, One Dream." This theme shows our dedication to working together as a supportive community to achieve our goals. Through strong relationships among students, parents, teachers, and staff, we aim to create an environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

At Pate Elementary, we believe in the power of relationships. Building strong connections with our students, families, and the community is at the heart of everything we do. It is the Heart of Teaching.  To ensure we maintain open communication and collaboration, we have an open-door policy. I encourage you to reach out to me or any member of our team with your questions, concerns, or ideas.

We will host our Title I Annual Welcome Back Night to welcome you back to school and provide opportunities to connect and share information about the upcoming school year.  We will be sharing information about our new car line dismissal procedures Pikmykid that we will be using this year as well as you will be able to meet your child’s teacher.  We are eager to see familiar faces and meet new ones as we come together to make this school year successful.  Please mark your calendars for July 29th from 4:00-6:00 pm to join us for Welcome Back Night-Open House.
